It is a shame that people face such anxiety when trying to tell others how they feel. Be it out of fear that their affection will be unreturned, fear of judgment from others, or simply natural paranoia, they often shy away from expressing their love. In this day and age, such people are running out of excuses to be shy. The Internet, with its breadth and portability, has made the possible means of communication seemingly limitless. Unfortunately, much of this potential has been abused and wasted on sites that promote both outward and inward hatred. The Internet has become a shield that stands between insult-slinging aggressors and their victims, allowing people to say harmful things, practically free of consequence. The culture around internet-based communication needs to change. Love is as easy to spread through the digital world as hate, but it is not used as much. What the Internet needs is a boost from a site that facilitates affection, like The Love Quilt. With more use of sites such as this, the online community could be warmed by kindness rather than offended by the inappropriate material that is found on so many popular sites. Hopefully a new trend comes into effect.

Hopefully there are some people out there who will enjoy reading some of the material we will be providing on this page. We plan to supply our readers with a wide assortment of topics and reads. We plan on making lists like “Ten unconventional ways to ask a girl out”, interviewing some interesting people to get their insight into various topics, and we are going to post updates about the site or it’s advancements for people who return regularly. Eventually, we will also allow outside visitors to send us something they would like to get published so readers don’t have to read my opinions on a constant basis.
